Welcome to the official site of the Gig Harbor Garden Tour Association to support child and adult literacy. The profits from the 2012 Gig Harbor Garden Tour helped to support Tacoma Community College's Adult Basic Skills/GED Preparation given in Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula. Donations were also provided to Communities in Schools and Reach Out and Read in the Key Peninsula and Gig Harbor area.
We are so proud of our community response, our sponsors, our advertisers, our vendors, our volunteers, and the dedication and creative spirit of our local gardeners who work diligently for a fun and enjoyable event to support literacy in our local community! This year's tour will be on June 29th from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and June 30th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. This is a self-guided tour of gardens, so please wear your walking shoes, and bring your friends for a wonderful day of gardening ideas!
Cost of the 2013 Garden Tour is $25. Groups of 10 or more pay just $20 per ticket. Please mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org for group sales discount tickets. All tickets purchased online from now through Saturday must be picked up at our will-call location, the Ebb Tide Gallery, 7809 Pioneer Way, Gig Harbor. The Gig Harbor Garden Tour is a two day event; it is run by dedicated volunteers, and ‘Master Gardener’ docents. We cannot thank them enough! The profits generated from the Garden Tour and the “Dig the Gig” auction go to fund literacy programs in the Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula area.
